Qualifications

What learners have achieved

Put the award on the person, with the paperwork that backs it up.

A learner award with status, reference, provider and supporting evidence files.

How it helps

What learners have achieved

Put the award on the person with the paperwork that backs it up. Valid, expiring, expired or in progress is worked out from the dates — nobody is picking a status that goes stale.

When an auditor or employer asks for proof, you open the learner — not a side folder of scans.

Why it matters

What your team gains

The outcomes your team gains from this part of Afanor — written for training administrators, not database designers.

Awards you can stand behind

  • What they achieved, when, the reference and who issued it
  • Status worked out from expiry and renewal windows
  • Add, change or remove with a confirm step before deletion

Evidence attached to the award

  • The same evidence library used across training and qualifications
  • Review, verification and file expiry on the document itself
  • Previous certificates and identity papers in one place

Other parts of qualifications

Afanor treats qualifications as part of the learner’s story: what they achieved, the evidence behind it, and the date you must not miss.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about what learners have achieved

Can we record certificate numbers and expiry dates?

Yes. A type of qualification can require a certificate number and an expiry date. The learner’s award then holds what they achieved, when it expires, the reference, who issued it and any notes.

Does this stay with the learner?

Yes. The award is part of the same person you already know from CRM and training, not a separate tracker.

Works alongside

What sits next to qualifications

These parts of Afanor share the same people, so you are not starting again in another tool.

Training

From the plan on the wall to the people in the room

Schedule the course, check learners in, run the quiz and follow up before a qualification lapses — without starting again in another tool.

CRM

One place to know every learner

Stop keeping people in one spreadsheet and employers in another. Afanor holds who they are, how to reach them, and what still needs doing.
